In TallyUP!, playing games on the Tower involves being matched against a random opponent and making moves quickly in real time. A MatchUP, on the other hand, is a game in which players may challenge a specific opponent and then play the game at their own pace, over time, with each opponent taking their turn and passing the game back and forth to one another.
Similar to playing games on Tower, if a challenge is accepted, then the appropriate level entry fee is withdrawn from each player’s account balance at the start of the game, and the winner of the game wins the total.
When playing MatchUP games, players have up to 48hrs to complete each move. If you fail to make a move before time expires, the game will be forfeited and your opponent will win the game and prize amount.
Note: When playing MatchUPs, be especially sure to have TallyUP! push notifications enabled in order to receive game alerts and avoid losing or forfeiting games due to time out.
