During early stages of community growth when a player seeks a match but no opponent is available to play, especially at odd hours, TallyUP will occasionally match players against one of a small number of computer-controlled opponents. This is strictly to ensure that games can be enjoyed when players want, if no other match is available.
The computer-controlled opponents have no additional information, skill or advantage of any kind. They play exactly as average players do and they lose at least as often as they win. Being matched with such an opponent is already quite rare and decreasing each day as our community and play levels increase.
While we are working to release a opt-out feature for bots, it is entirely possible to enjoy TallyUP without playing against any computer controlled opponents by...
1. Playing when there are lots of other players online (e.g. during Surge events).
2. Playing MatchUPs against other players from the feed or other leaderboards.
