No, you do not.

During the cash out process, you’ll be asked for an email address where you’d like your money to be sent.

If you do already have a PayPal account, use the contact info for your existing account, and the money will be deposited directly into your account.

If you don't already have a PayPal account, you’ll receive instructions to the email address you provide about how to create an account and claim your cash.
